Answers From Genesis!
We are so glad you found our website! We have been waiting just for you. Without you, we are like a puzzle with a piece missing!
At First Assembly of God, in Council Bluffs, you will find that we are not just a "family church" but a "church family", and we have something for everyone in your family. We begin our Sunday morning with a vibrant and challenging hour of Sunday School, with a class for every age and several elective classes for adults, including men's and women's Bible studies, an in depth Bible study, a class for the hearing impaired led by a certified American Sign Language for the Deaf interpreter, and various short term classes like Membership 101, Leadership 101, and Parenting Your Teenager. During our Sunday morning service we have an exciting time with contemporary music, the emphasis on entering into the presence of God, followed by a dynamic and relevant message from the Bible. During our morning service we also have a Nursery for children up to two years old, Super Tots Church for ages 2 years to Kindergarten, and ROCSolid Kidz Church for first through sixth grades. We have a certified American Sign Sanguage for the Deaf interpreter available in each of our services on Sunday. You can find out more about these outstanding children's ministries and more in our Church Ministries section. We cap things off Sunday evening with our Sunday Night Alive service where we share a time of quiet worship followed by testimonies from members of our Lifeline-Uth RE5'd Youth Ministries. Oh, by the way, did we mention that we have many opportunities for ministry where you can utilize your gifts and talents to serve God?
Now that is a lot happening on Sunday, but that is just the tip of the iceberg! On Wednesday evening we have activities for every member of your family. We have a nursery for infants to two years of age. We also have The Rainbows for toddlers, The Royal Rangers for elementary through high school boys, The Girl's Ministries (Formerly The Missionettes) for elementary through high school girls, Lifeline-Uth RE5'd Youth Ministries, for high school age young adults, and an Adult Bible Study for the adults! Come one, come all!!! Once again, you can find further information on any of these ministries in our Church Ministries section.
We also have Men's and Women's Overcomer groups that meet on Saturday morning for those who need help fighting addictions, as well as a ladies Bible Study that meets on Tuesday mornings at the church.
Well, now that you have had a taste of what we have to offer at Council Bluffs First Assembly of God why not spend a little time and check out the rest of our website to learn more about us. Better yet, we'll be looking for you this Sunday!
